SpeedFixTool stopped working

Sometimes users get the below error message:

"Speed Fix Tool has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

If you got the above message, this means your computer has low memory and a large number of records in it's Windows registry, which results in SpeedFixTool crashing. In this case in order to complete the scan properly, you will have to close the program and scan your system area by area.

To scan your computer area by area please complete the following.
  1. Open SpeedFixTool
  2. Go to Settings, and click on Scan Areas
  3. Deselect all scan areas, then select a single area per column to scan, and click Apply
  4. Click Start Scan.
  5. Once the scan is complete, repeat the process again from the Step 1, only now select Scan Areas that have not been scanned yet, and continue the process until you have all the areas scanned.
